Recently, our plant finished producing a continuous charcoal charring furnace designed specifically for a prominent agricultural waste management company in Cuba. This innovation will transform how agricultural waste, particularly rice husk, is used, turning it into valuable biomass energy products and decreasing reliance on fossil fuels.

Client background and needs

Our Cuban client focuses on collecting, treating, and reusing agricultural waste. Rice husk, a key by-product of rice processing, represents a substantial part of Cuba’s agricultural waste.

The primary goal for the client was to identify a technology capable of processing large volumes of rice husks and transforming them into marketable biomass fuels. This charcoal could be distributed to both industrial and residential sectors, with the possibility of being further refined into premium products like activated charcoal, thereby optimizing the utilization of rice husk resources.

Transportation and installation of the machine

After thorough quality checks and performance evaluations, our continuous charcoal carbonizer was meticulously packed and loaded onto a cargo ship heading to Cuba. The ocean journey was uneventful, and the machine reached the Cuban port safely.

Once it arrived, a dedicated team of engineers flew to Cuba to supervise the installation of the furnace. They engaged in detailed technical discussions and conducted an extensive training course to ensure that the Cuban staff were well-informed about the operation and maintenance of the charcoal furnace.

With the new continuous charcoal charring furnace now in operation, the customer can transform significant amounts of rice husks into high-quality charcoal, which serves as a biomass fuel.
