We recently shipped an SL-50 wood sawdust log maker to a customer in Kuwait. This machine will be used to process sunflower seed husk and convert it into efficient and eco-friendly biomass bar fuel.

The client company is dedicated to transforming agricultural by-products in the Middle East into efficient and clean fuels, utilizing the region’s abundant waste biomass resources.
The primary raw material used is sunflower seed husk, which boasts a high calorific value of approximately 18-20 MJ/kg, but presents challenges due to its low density and loose structure. Traditional methods of handling this material face issues like high storage and transportation costs, as well as low combustion efficiency. The client’s needs include:
- Converting loose sunflower seed husk into high-density, easily storable rod fuel.
- Ensuring continuous production with a capacity of 200 kg or more per hour.
- Adapting equipment to maintain stability in the high temperatures and dry climate typical of the Middle East.
